What to expect during an inspection

A typical inspection should be completed in 2-3 hours. The roof, foundation and exterior will be visually inspected. The mechanical systems will be tested for proper operation. Time of year and weather conditions may affect some of the items inspected. If this is the case the inspector will advise the client of any concerns due to these conditions. The client should attend the inspection. During the inspection the inspector will be able to explain the operation of the mechanical systems. Furniture and/or personal items will not be moved by the inspector. Any areas not accessible will be noted. This is just an overview of what will be covered and is not meant to include all items inspected.

An additional 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours are spent in preparing your report.
